Our Motto: Be Great. Do Great.
Ro & Lo Co. was founded with a rebellious spirit and the desire to help small, local business grow while giving back to the communities they serve.
It’s like the gift that keeps on giving, or at least that’s how we like to think of it.
Time and time again we’ve seen small business owners have a great product or service, but fall short on marketing and customer experience. Or worse, the business owner is spending precious time doing marketing when their time is better utilized what they’re good at: their small business.
Leave the marketing to us, we’ll help your small business grow and then we’ll give back while you focus on your business.
Hey! I’m Carly and marketing is my jam.
I’m not afraid to say it, I nerd-out on all things marketing, design, customer experience & leadership.
After graduating the University of Idaho with a degree in marketing and minor in communications in 2006 I worked professionally in many industries ranging from real estate and automotive to nonprofits and government with the State of Alaska.
After 13 years of helping small business owners and public figures create and execute marketing and customer experience strategies I created Ro & Lo Co.
The idea came after watching my daughter, Rory (spoiler alert: she’s the Ro of Ro & Lo Co.) and her BFF Lola-dog (yup, she’s the Lo) snuggle up. I was just about done with maternity leave and at a crossroads.
I loved my work and I loved being a mom but I didn’t love the inflexibility of the 9-5. I was in a position where I felt I had a lot more to offer than my current position allowed, and I was struggling to find a seat at the table. What’s more, I saw a need - excellent local business with great products and services falling short with marketing, content, reach, and engagement
Not to toot my own horn, but I knew I was great at what I did and I could help them (toot toot!). What’re more, I knew I didn’t have to sit in an office from 9-5, 5 days a week to be successful.
So I set out to create Ro & Lo Co. And, well, here we are.
Oh, and that table I struggled to find a seat at? I built my own.
